In addition, all staff hold Paediatric First Aid qualifications, renewed every 3 years. Dayo has been working with children for over a decade specialising in Early Years foundation stage. Prior to taking over the running of Family Tree Day Nursery, Dayo was a primary school teacher and Early Years Maths Coordinator for an OFSTED outstanding school in the London Borough of Greenwich. She is very passionate about creating a stimulating learning environment and working with under 5year olds. She gets really excited when involved in role plays and teaching the children through interactive demonstrations and modeling. It’s a delight for me to do what I love for a living. Working with the little ones brings smiles to my face.

I have worked at Family Tree Day Nursery for over 9 years. I work in all areas of the nursery and I am very devoted to providing the children with a variety of healthy food choices, supporting their development and needs.
I love to see children explore new foods and watch their development from babies to pre-school. With my Level 3 qualification I am also able to support the staff and cover in the rooms when required. It’s always lovely to hear the children ask me. ‘’ Lou! What are you cooking?’’
I also work in the office twice a week, updating social media and dealing with the administration needs of the office.

I am the forest school lead and enjoy being outside with the children teaching them about bird names, planting and growing, building shelter and using outside materials to play with.
